HR Checkup is a self-assessment designed by Imagine Canada’s HR Intervals to diagnose your organization’s HR health. Completing the Checkup will leave you with a free customized HR “prescription” for your organization, with hands-on advice on areas for growth as well as resources and templates to get you started.

HR Intervals is a free resource designed for managers, employees, and board members who perform HR functions at nonprofit organizations. Our goal is to help nonprofit leaders better understand, address, and guide people management in their organizations. New resources will be added to the site on a regular basis.

To access your results and track your progress over time, create a profile. We adhere to a strict privacy policy to ensure that your information is kept secure. Creating a profile will also allow you to save your progress and return if you need more time to complete the quiz at a later time. 6) How long does it take to complete the Checkup?
Most users complete the HR Checkup in approximately 10-15 minutes. There are 50 questions.
7) Is there a cost to take the Checkup?
No, HR Checkup is completely free. You will receive a customized report with recommendations at no charge.
8) What topics does the Checkup cover?
The Checkup assesses key HR areas, including: recruitment, HR policies, digital adoption, equity, reconciliation and anti-racism, compensation and benefits, learning, training, and development, and more.
9) What do I get after completing the Checkup?
You’ll receive a personalized HR “prescription” outlining areas for growth, best practices, and access to templates and resources to help you improve your HR processes.
10) Can I retake the Checkup?
Yes! You can retake the HR Checkup at any time to track your progress and continue improving your HR health. Log back in here to retake the assessment. You will get an automatic reminder every 6 months to retake the Checkup. You may unsubscribe at any time.
