Building Equitable HR at Your Nonprofit is a brand-new free e-learning course developed by
OWL – Open World Learning in partnership with Imagine Canada’s HR Intervals. OWL gives nonprofits free online courses, resources, and community—so their teams can do more good, faster.
This course dives into what equity really means in a workplace (spoiler: it’s not the same as equality), why it matters for nonprofits, and how you can put it into action. You’ll explore frameworks like Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (JEDI) and Anti-Racism and Anti-Oppression (ARAO), learn how to run an equity audit, set meaningful goals, and design policies that actually strengthen your team and your impact.
